Can I confirm that Social Dog Subscription will offer 6x 1hr walks + 2x day care and booking flexibility (when available) for only £60
Correct, the price we display includes VAT so the Social Dog Package is £59.99 - that’s exactly what you’ll pay.

How does boarding fit in with the subscription, for example would you be able to use the daycare allowance towards the boarding?
No, you won’t be able to use a day care towards your boarding. Any boarding requets will be treated as a seperate booking and payment.

Would the day care/24hrs cover weekends and would we be able to put 2 together, say a Friday and Saturday? Or would these still need to be booked as one offs?
Yes, your day care allowance can cover weekends. But no you can’t put 2 together for a boarding. It can cover a Friday or Saturday along as we have a boarder or pet sitter available.

How does the 6 day care per month work? Do we need to drop our pet off to a location or does he get collected?
Nope, we will continue to do the normal routine with your pet that we already have. On occasion there may be different circumstances that affect this, but we will notify / discuss with you beforehand.

Can the days be moved around if needed or do you have to have the same days every week?
You can select the days you want, and our preference would be to lock them in My Pet Walker as we usually do right up until the end of the year. If you need to reschedule a particular walk or day care, than as per usual, you message us and we will do that for you.

Is the day care that is included Mon to Fri only?
Day Care at Waterlooville is open Monday to Fridays, but we have 10 pet sitters who can also provide Saturday or Sunday care at your home, and we will be looking to bring on another boarder next year.

Currently we have 2 walks per month. If we switched to the Social Dog Package, would we then be able to change to 1 walk per week, and also, for example, pre-book him in for day care/24 hour stay twice a month on a regular basis. e.g. every other Friday?
Really great that this allows you to increase your services with us! We can offer a regular slot at Day Care on a Monday to Friday, but as Jessie does not work Saturdays, Day Care is not currently ‘open’. Your dog can board with her across a weekend (Friday to Monday), if you needed. Please also remember that overnight stays are subject to availability and capacity to board based on our licence.

If there is no capacity for day care in the month, would the 2 days available in the package roll over to the next month?
With us having quite a large team of helpers, including dog walkers, and pet sitters, we feel we can mostly certainly manage the requests. If however for any reason i.e. staff holidays, sickness (etc) we were unable to offer day care either at Waterlooville or at your home, we would look to exchange your day care for walks / visits instead.

Will there be any annual leave / carry over allowance? For example if going on holiday for 2 weeks (so missing out on 4 walks) will there be any scope for some of these to be carried over to the next month (like a rolling arrangement- but only for exceptional circumstances such as long holidays etc).
No, we won’t be offering rollovers I’m afraid as right now that’s not possible for us to track. Instead you can “cancel / pause” your subscription before your next monthly billing is due to occur, and book in the individual walks that you require, for the following month. Then when you’re ready to start back up again, just pop us a message.

If 6 walks a month, and we normally do 1 per week, would the other 2 walks be on the same days each month?
You can choose what days you would like your walks on, they can be different to any ‘set days’ you have now.

Also with day care does that include pick up or do we drop off?
Yes, our usual pick up and drops are available between the new hours of 9am to 5pm.

My dog's got a few behavioural issues, how will that work?
All day care dogs must be suitable for coming to day care, i.e. no under 10m old, no severe aggression, no destructive behaviours, no separation anxiety, we always conduct a taster beforehand to ensure your dog is the right fit. If we can’t offer day care, then we would discuss these extenuating circumstances with you to find an alternative solution.

No, we’ve included the VAT in the prices we’ve announced!

I'm a bit confused, can I discuss with you beforehand?
Yes, our loyalty customers will be invited to book a 15m “switch-over” personal call, so we can answer anything that still leaves you confused, and get your subscription set up based on what you need.

Prices on pay as you go, I know you said they would be coming. Interested to know for school holiday weeks etc
At the moment, our pay as you go prices are staying the same. The only service that has to change it’s price from 1st November is the Day Care option, this is because we are merging half day care and full day care, into one day care. The price as a standard is £40.

For the subscription- ie- social dog and active dog, is it walks and day care you get? Is there an option to swap day care for extra walks?
If we can’t accommodate for Day Care for any reason, then we would be happy to swap to a walk or 2 for you, but ultimately we will aim to either provide day care at Waterlooville, or place a pet sitter in to care for your pet. If you have extenuating circumstances or a request, then please discuss this with us on your switch over call.

Will anything change in terms of availability (ie- to continue with set weekly days for walks?)
Nope, the whole set up of how we run things is staying the same. You just confirm the ‘set’ days you want, if they’re the same before great. If there’s any new ones because you’ve got a higher allowance - we’ll add them in during your call.

If not using the dog plus subscription (because I only have 1 dog), but occasionally I have a friends dog come to stay, can I pay seperately for that pet? Or use one of my dogs allowances?
Yes, if you have a relatives or friends dog come to stay, we wouldn’t expect you to be on a “plus” subscription, so you can book a pay as you go walk for that extra pet, or we are happy as an “ad hoc” to use one of your allowance walks to cover that pet. Whatever works out better for you. Just message the team and we will get that sorted out.

Will my pet be remaining with consistent people who we already know or will this mean introducing her to new day care providers/walkers?
We’re always looking to grow our team with the right people as our demand grows, but predominately we introduce new pets to new staff members, to keep pets familiar with certain faces. However, down the line we will have to introduce new faces for holiday or sickness cover. However, for peace of mind are team are all verified, DBS checked and will conduct a thorough handover with one of the senior pet team.

Our main concern is that if every subscriber takes full advantage of what is included in the package, it will inevitably exceed available capacity. This could make it difficult to book in ad-hoc boarding in the future.
We’ve always had to factor in capacity due to our licencing and we will do our very best to make sure we can offer what we promise to deliver. As this is a new direction for us, we will need to take it day by day, and review along the way. By customers allowing us to offer Day Care at their home and being open to sitters, this should alleviate the “overnight stay” pressure at Waterlooville with Jessie. We’ve always worked on a first come, first served basis, and that’s how it will remain.

Can my dog have a longer than 1 hour walk?
As of the 1st Nov, we will be disabling our 2 hour walking option, this is because it only catered for a few pets, and also logistically made it a bit harder for the team. If you would like your pet to be visited twice in one day, this can be arranged by using 2 of your allowance walks, one for an AM visit and one for a PM visit. This means we can send different, yet familiar team members in to walk your pet.

Where is Day Care?
Day Care is currently operated from Jessie’s residence in Waterlooville, Mon to Friday 9am to 5pm and as per our update recently, Jessie is stepping away from standalone Saturday jobs for some well deserved R&R at weekends. Day Care for Saturdays or Sundays can be offered either with one of our other boarders (subject to capacity), or with an allocated a pet sitter to take care of them in your home (subject to availability).
