This Agreement is binding between you ("The Client") and this Company ("The Animal Days Ltd”).
By accessing and using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
You acknowledge that this Agreement is a contract between you and The Animal Days Ltd, even though it is electronic and is not physically signed by you, and it governs your use of the The Animal Days Ltd services.
1. The Client consents to their dog being photographed, videotaped, and/or used in any media or advertising by The Animal Days without prior approval. All such media remain the property of The Animal Days Ltd. The Client must notify The Animal Days during onboarding if they do not accept this Social Media Policy Condition.
2. The Animal Days Ltd will invoice The Client for the agreed Service(s). The Client agrees that Payment will be completed by the invoice due date. In some instances, The Animal Days Ltd will ask for payment up front from Clients that they have not previously serviced. For Pet Care bookings The Animal Days Ltd will require full payment at least 14 days prior to your service. Refunds will be granted at the discretion of The Animal Days Ltd. Typically where a booking is cancelled within a 72 hour window, there will be no refund.
3. For payments not completed by the due date, or any other such date that only The Animal Days Ltd may provide, The Client agrees to accept that a daily charge of interest (0.25p per day) will be applied to their outstanding bill for every consecutive day that the invoice is not paid. Should the client wish to terminate their contract with The Animal Days Ltd, then this must be sent in writing. The Animal Days reserves the right to ask for successful completion of any outstanding monies owed, before returning any such property, i.e. keys, to the client. If no property is held under The Animal Days Ltd, and/or the pet bill is not completed by the due date, then The Animal Days Ltd will notify the client in writing prior to additional charges being applied. Should The Client fail to rectify their outstanding bill, within a reasonable time frame (7 working days). The Animal Days Ltd reserves the right to refer the matter to their legal representative, for additional action. The Animal Days Ltd will not be liable for any financial losses to The Client, should the matter be forwarded to a small claims court.
4. All dogs will be subject to an initial assessment (known as a Meet & Greet, or Taster Stay), by The Animal Days Ltd prior to confirmation of service booking. The Animal Days Ltd reserves the right to refuse services to any dog deemed in their absolute discretion to be or have the potential to be dangerous, un-vaccinated or are presently on the ‘Banned Breeds’ list.
5. The Animal Days Ltd agrees to comply with The Clients consent in relation to permitting pet(s) to be on or off lead. Where a dog is consented ‘off lead’ but is assessed by The Animal Days and not-granted ‘off lead’ status, a training line, or other dog training lead, will be used to ensure the dog achieves appropriate levels of exercise, safely. Training lines used are either 5 or 10 metres, other tools may include Dog Training Collars, or Slip Rope Leads.
6. The Client is responsible for ensuring that their dog has received all necessary vaccinations as a puppy. A copy of vaccination records are required prior to The Animal Days conducting a service. Where The Client feels their dog may have caught an illness such as Kennel Cough, The Client acknowledges that they need to notify The Animal Days Ltd immediately, or within 7 days of the Service Agreement starting, and The Animal Days Ltd, may refuse or postpone a service, until further notice.
7. All dog play is carefully monitored to avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, or other injuries and illness or diseases such as Kennel Cough, fleas, ringworm, and other skin infections may occur despite the best supervision.
8. The Client understands that whilst their dog is in The Animal Days Ltd care, they have insurance in place to cover costs incurred either to their dog, or by their dog. However, should The Client wish to take responsibility for any such payments they will be able to. The Client will need to give authorisation to The Animal Days to seek veterinary treatment before services begin.
9. The Client agrees that The Animal Days Ltd is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged leads, collars, tags, clothing, or any other item left with their dog. Nor is The Animal Days Ltd responsible for any missing items from The Clients home, following the services provided by a Dog Walker, or Pet Sitter.
10. No variation of these Terms and Conditions will have effect unless confirmed by The Animal Days Ltd in writing.
ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to all its terms and conditions. By instructing and proceeding with The Animal Days you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorised to proceed to use our services. The Animal Days Ltd reserves the right to update these terms at any such time, and will notify all previous and active Clients via email or other platforms i.e. social media channels.
