Our Top 10 Favourite Spots for Dog Walking!

As your trusted boots on the ground for dog walking, we’re always sniffing out the best spots for walkies. 🐾

Whether you're looking for wide-open spaces for zoomies or scenic strolls to enjoy together, here are some of our favourite places to take your pooch for an adventure.

So, in no particular order…

1 - Goodman’s Field, Denmead ⬇️

A little bit mucky when it rains, but a good spot to go that’s semi-enclosed, big enough to not be on top of others, and lots of different areas for the dogs to enjoy.

2 - South Lane Meadow ⬇️

Two big fields on a small incline, beautiful views in the background, and a good sized car park. Just watch out for the cricket balls in summer!

3 - Wicor Rec, Portchester:

An absolute must to visit.

Apart from the fact one of the car parks now charge, the free car park that we’ve linked above still takes you to the Rec, you just enter from a slightly different place.

Fields and sea when the tides up! No amenties but plenty of fun.

4 - Stansted House, Emsworth:

The glorious Stansted House!

It has everything you need, from a pet friendly cafe, toilets and a garden centre. The routes are mostly flat, but you can also go off track for a more peaceful, special hike. Lots of parking and the odd occasional cow, or horse on route. It’s one of our favourite spots to do our TAD Pet Parent Pack Walkies!

5 - Knowle Haven, Funtley:

A very peaceful and quaint location, which connects to various other routes. There’s a little rainwater swimming pond in the corner which over winter the dogs can have a fun splash in! Avoid it in summer otherwise it’s stinky, and potentially harmful due to stagnate water!

Watch out for dear as well!

6 - Eastern Road, Milton Common:

If you need to be by the seaside sometimes, just like we do, then this a great walk for the dogs. There’s lots of little pathways to follow that all lead somewhere. You’ve got the beach if dogs like to swim, and you’ve got lots of bushes for the dogs that like to sniff.

Watch out for low tide, and swans though! Either they’ll be mucky stinky pups, or you’ll have pop them on if there’s swans in the lake (unless your dog listens to you of course).
